5 Words That Describe Me as a Therapist
Warm, Compassionate Outgoing, Genuine, New Yorker

My Approach
Welcome! I offer a safe and open space for everyone to be their authentic and genuine selves without any judgement. I'm passionate about helping those make positive changes to live their best life for the present moment and for the future. I consider myself to have a bright and bubbly personality that's easy to relate to while also being transparent and direct. I guess that's the New Yorker in me! I use a blend of Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in my practice while also being real with some light-heartedness. I'm so looking forward to working together and creating long-lasting positive impacts. I'm also a dog person and my pups, Sage/Sully/Rosie, are great co-hosts for therapy!

About Me
I'm originally from upstate New York and have now lived in Minnesota for about 10 years now. My husband, daughter, the 3 dogs and I love to be outside exploring, traveling to different parts of the world, listening to Taylor Swift, and overall spending good quality time with friends and family.

Background
I received my bachelor's from The University of Minnesota: Twin Cities in psychology and minored in family social science. I then received my master's degree in counseling psychology from The University of North Dakota and currently hold an LPCC in the state of Minnesota. I've worked with nonprofits for children and families with autism, at a university counseling center (this is where I found my passion for working with eating disorders), a national eating disorder treatment center as a program coordinator and lead therapist, to now working in private practice the last several years while also having my own professional therapy business. I'm also a Minnesota Ambassador for the Eating Disorder Coalition and teach at a private university while also participating in multiple eating disorder podcasts.
