A Wholehearted Journey

Maggie and Steph meet while working together as therapists at a respected private treatment organization. They quickly recognize a shared philosophy of care and a strong alignment in their clinical approaches.

2015 – A Serendipitous Start

In response to a growing community need for more personalized mental health care, Maggie launches Mindful Matters, a private practice focused on individual and family therapy, with particular attention to grief, loss, and eating disorders.

2017 – Mindful Matters

2018 – Wholehearted Healing

Also drawn to the impact of private practice, Steph establishes Wholehearted Healing, a small Minnesota-based practice offering compassionate mental health therapy services.

2019 – Open Minds, Open Doors

Wholehearted Healing opens its doors in Stillwater, Minnesota, becoming home to a small collective of like-minded, holistic clinicians.

United by a desire to grow thoughtfully and expand access to care, Mindful Matters and Wholehearted Healing merge and open a second location in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

2021 – A Shared Vision

To better serve clients and collaborate with a strong community of clinicians, Wholehearted Healing relocates its St. Louis Park office to Wayzata, Minnesota.

2022 – The Perfect Fit

With continued growth and an increasing need for care, Wholehearted Healing expands again, opening a third location in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota to serve the south metro.

2024 – Taking Root

Growing demand leads to the expansion of the Wayzata location, moving into a larger suite designed to better support both clients and clinicians.

2025 – Guided Growth

Maggie becomes the sole owner of Wholehearted Healing, guiding the practice forward with a focus on intentional growth and expanded services—while preserving the personalized, intimate care at the heart of the practice.
