I believe in treating people like people- I have a passion for connecting with clients on a realistic level. I strive to be empathetic, genuine, and maybe a little silly when it’s needed!

My Approach
My therapeutic manner is client-centered, with an emphasis on compassion and being grounded in the real world. I am very easy going and approachable. I would say some of my strengths would include being adaptable, positive, and using metaphors and humor to connect with clients in a meaningful way.

About Me
I am Minnesota-born and raised, with an eclectic history of jobs and experiences to draw from. Some of my hobbies include: aviation, bicycling, movies, and building things in my workshop. I like spending time outdoors, it seems like my daughter surprises me everyday with something new outside!

Background
I am a pre-licensed mental health professional working towards my licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota, under the supervision of Dr. Maggie Meyers, DMFT, LPCC. I am finishing my Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Studies degree from Saint Mary’s University- Twin Cities, and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas- St. Paul, Minnesota.
