5 Words That Describe Me as a Therapist
Kind, Curious, Warm, Devoted, & Funny

My Approach
My vision is to provide therapy that inspires and supports you to live a deeply meaningful life. Together, we explore a paradox many of us face: How do we release fear-based patterns that once helped us feel safe and open to a life we love today?

My approach brings psychological and physiological well-being together. I’ll ask about your emotions, help you notice what is happening in your body, and to support your  growth and recovery. As a registered art therapist, I may also invite creative expression. Clients describe me as warm, empowering, dedicated, and honest. I am deeply respectful of your process while helping you recognize and change patterns that no longer serve you.

My background includes working in hospitals, schools, and community health centers. I have extensive experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, and health psychology. I am LGBTQ+ poly affirming, and committed to anti-racist practice.

About Me
I am a Mother of adult daughters, an artist, and player of the musical saw. Social justice, Books, Nature, and Music restore my Soul. When not working, I love to explore the driftless region, go on retreats in Montana, and nap.  My husband and I live with a fancy cat.

Background
I earned my graduate degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Alfred Adler Graduate School after studying Fine Arts and Pre-Med at the University of Minnesota. I also hold a Massage Therapy degree from the Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork. I am certified in Integral Somatic Psychology and Havening Techniques, with additional training in Indigenous Tools for Living, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Brainspotting, and Clinical Hypnosis. My multidisciplinary training reflects my longstanding commitment to integrating body, mind, creativity, and relationship in the healing process.
