5 Words That Describe Me as a Therapist
Attuned, Reflective, Grounded, Authentic, Empowering
My Approach
Therapy doesn’t have to begin with answers—it can begin with curiosity. I see it as a space to slow down, get grounded, and notice what has shaped you. Together, we explore what feels stuck or out of alignment and create space for ways of being that feel authentic. I cultivate a collaborative, relational environment where you can show up as you are and feel supported in moving toward what feels meaningful to you.
My work centers queer and neurodivergent folks, tweens and teens, women and girls, and parents—often during times of transition or uncertainty. Using a justice-centered, liberation-focused lens, I support clients navigating a range of concerns, from mood or self-esteem to identity exploration and societal pressures. I walk alongside you as you reflect on your inner world and imagine what it looks like to live authentically.
About Me
I’m an advocate and activist, a plant lover, and an iced oatmilk latte connoisseur. I enjoy all kinds of physical media—books, art, video games, and music—and love bringing the curiosity and creativity they inspire into my work. These interests shape the attentiveness, openness, and authenticity I bring to the therapy space.
Background
I am a pre-licensed mental health professional working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of Minnesota under the supervision of Dr. Maggie Meyers. I hold a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Gender & Women’s Studies from St. Cloud State University. My path into this work is rooted in a deep commitment to direct support, social justice, and advocacy.
