5 Words That Describe Me as a Therapist
Attentive, Compassionate, Solution-Oriented, Curious, Honest

My Approach
As a therapist, I take an eclectic approach by blending different modalities. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I believe problems are contextual and ultimately different approaches will benefit different clients. I’m most frequently referencing systems-based theories, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I believe our experiences are heavily shaped by the world around us, which includes our environment and relationships, and that change is driven and sustained by aligning our values and our actions. Together, we can explore what is meaningful to you to inform your therapy goals, identify what cycles may benefit from change, discover what motivates you to make changes, and collaborate on a path to accomplishment.

About Me
I’m an ambivert through and through so I love to host my friends over for game nights or do new activities around town together, but I also enjoy spending time watching TV with my cats or baking sweet treats. When I have the means to I like to travel both domestically and internationally because I love exploring new places, learning about the history, and trying new foods.

Background
Currently, I am a student intern working on completing my Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Quantitative Studies and Applied Statistics from Bard College at Simon's Rock and worked as a data analyst for a number of years before transitioning to mental health care.
