Angela Buzay, Pre-Independently Licensed Therapist

(she, her, hers)

Individual Adult and Adolescent Therapist

My Approach:

I’m a trauma and eating disorder therapist who believes healing can be deep, meaningful… and still involve laughing. I’m trained in Brainspotting and Prolonged Exposure, and I help people work through tough experiences in ways that are practical, grounded, and effective. I also work with couples using PREPARE/ENRICH to improve communication and break out of stuck patterns.

A big focus of my work is guilt and shame, especially when those feelings show up around identity, privilege, and the systems we’re all swimming in. My approach blends a feminist and liberation lens with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, helping clients clarify their values and move toward a life that feels more aligned. I work with kids, teens, adults, and couples. I’m warm, honest, and supportive, while also helping clients gently but clearly take accountability.

About Me:

When I am not working, I love traveling and watching Professional Women's Hockey League games! I also enjoy plant shopping and having intentional slow days with my partner and friends.
