Individual Therapist

My Approach:

Welcome! I offer a safe and open space for everyone to be their authentic and genuine selves without any judgement. I'm passionate about helping those make positive changes to live their best life for the present moment and for the future. I consider myself to have a bright and bubbly personality that's easy to relate to while also being transparent and direct. I guess that's the New Yorker in me! I use a blend of Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in my practice while also being real with some light-heartedness. I'm so looking forward to working together and creating long-lasting positive impacts. I'm also a dog person and my pups, Sage/Sully/Rosie, are great co-hosts for therapy!

Experience & Education

My first professional experience was working with children on the spectrum at a non-profit in New York. I then worked at a University Counseling Center as a therapist in mental health for college students. This led to my passion for eating disorders and disordered eating. I worked at a national eating disorder treatment center working as a program coordinator/lead therapist for a young adult partial hospitalization program as well as an outpatient therapist for many years. I specialize in eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, and life changes. I work with those 14 years old and up. I'm currently a Minnesota Ambassador for the Eating Disorder Coalition, a professor at a private university teaching mindfulness, and also participated in multiple international eating disorder podcasts .
