My Story

For much of my life, I’ve felt attuned to what goes unspoken - whether in myself or in others. I know how painful it can be to feel like your voice doesn’t matter or that your emotions are too much. That’s part of what led me to this path: a desire to create spaces where people feel heard, valued, and able to reconnect with who they are.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked with youth in schools and witnessed firsthand how transformative it can be to simply have someone listen. Over time, I realized that helping people feel seen and understood is something I’m meant to do.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing board games and video games, and taking walks to unwind. I value connection, creativity, and the everyday moments that help life feel more grounded, joyful, and meaningful.

My Approach

I see therapy as a personal journey - a safe and supportive space where you can pause, reflect, and chart your own unique path forward. Life’s journey can be winding and steep at times, and I’m here to walk alongside you as we explore the challenges you’re facing, whether that’s anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, identity exploration, challenges with self-esteem, relationship struggles, or family conflict.

Together, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back and build on the strengths and tools you already have, helping you navigate your path with greater confidence, clarity, and self-compassion. I hope to bring warmth, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit to our work, supporting adolescents, adults, and families every step of the way.

My Experience

I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families in school settings, outpatient clinics, and community-based care. My work is rooted in systems thinking, trauma-informed practice, and a deep respect for cultural and personal identity. I draw from CBT, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and experiential approaches to meet clients where they’re at. I’m passionate about creating safe, affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ clients and people from diverse backgrounds. I believe that being heard can be the beginning of real change.

I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies from the University of St. Thomas, and my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota (LMFT #4361).
