Individual Therapist

My Approach:

I provide individual therapy to adolescents and young adults. My approach centers around connection, compassion and staying curious about who you are in the past, present and future; helping you become the author to your own story. I want you to feel seen and heard throughout our time working together.

Although I welcome working with a range of client concerns, my areas of special focus include navigating disordered eating, eating disorders, body image, shame and perfectionism, identity exploration and anxiety management. Many of my clients are in the early stages of exploring their relationship with identity, food and their bodies. Like all of us, I am a work-in-progress but I constantly strive to be culturally and gender affirming and responsive in my overall practice. Please reach out to begin your journey.

Experience & Education

I received by Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an emphasis in Literature, Language and Culture & Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies from University of Minnesota-Duluth. I later earned my Master’s in Educational Psychology specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Prior to becoming a licensed therapist, I worked in community-based non-profits throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. I remain passionate about advocating and supporting youth and families during their healing and growth journeys, as well as promoting access to care. I am licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.
