Blake Bender, MA, LMFT

(she, her, hers)

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

My Approach:

My hope is you’ll find a non-judgmental space to ensure that you can freely explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of criticism. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to provide guidance, support, and practical tools to help you navigate the challenges you may be facing.

I’m here to co-create a therapeutic experience that aligns with your goals and individual story. By embracing your individual strengths and values, I’m committed to helping you build a more fulfilling and authentic life.

My style comes from person-centered, narrative, and experiential therapies mixed with a more structured DBT background.

Licensure & Education:

I have provided services to children, adolescents, and adults throughout my time in mental health. Most recently I have focused on teens and adults experiencing a wide range of concerns: depression, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma, life transitions, and more. I am trained in adherent Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Brain spotting (level 1), and am finishing certification in Perinatal Mental Health.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in Psychology with a minor in Family Social Science. My graduate degree is from St. Mary’s University of MN in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota (LMFT #3860) and Wisconsin (LMFT #2223-124).
